Rental terms, damage policy, and return expectations
Customer Rental Policy
At Bay AV Rentals, we are committed to providing reliable, high-quality audio-visual equipment and services. By renting from us, you agree to the following terms:
📦 Equipment Responsibility
- All equipment rented from Bay AV Rental remains the sole property of Bay AV Rental at all times during the rental period.
- The customer is responsible for the equipment from the time of pickup or delivery until it is returned.
- Equipment must be handled with care and used appropriately.
⏱ Rental Period
- The rental period begins at the time of pickup or delivery.
- Late returns may result in additional charges.
- Any extensions must be requested and approved in advance.
💳 Payment
- Full payment is required before or at the time of pickup or delivery.
- A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the equipment rented.
🪪 Identification
- A valid government-issued ID may be required for all rentals.
Damage and Loss Policy
We inspect all gear before and after each rental so issues can be addressed quickly and fairly.
🔧 Damaged Equipment
- Customers are responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period.
- Repair costs will be charged based on the extent of the damage.
- If the equipment is damaged beyond repair, the full replacement cost will be charged.
❌ Missing Items
- Any missing items, including cables, adapters, microphones, or accessories, will be charged at full replacement cost.
- Partial losses, such as missing components or accessories, are also subject to charges.
🔍 Inspection
- All equipment is inspected and tested before and after each rental.
- Any issues must be reported immediately upon receipt of the equipment.
